Startup Grind and the OMG! Summit West 2016

I received a follow-up e-mail from Startup Grind stating that it was a pleasure to meet me last week at the SoCal Conference in Los Angeles. They also wanted to remind me of two additional benefits I should take advantage of…

  • $120k IBM Cloud Credit: IBM will connect my business (CalmandStrong) into its network of enterprises, consultants and innovation centers.

  • An Opportunity to Guest Blog with StatupGrind.com: I will an opportunity to post a guest blog with StartupGrind.com, which could have an opportunity to reach 300k of their social media followers.

I registered to attend the OMG! Summit West event on Oct. 29th, located in Irvine, CA. I blogged about CancerCon a few weeks ago, and registered to attend and speak at the event, but I’m still waiting for a confirmation e-mail.

CancerCon and The OMG! Summit West events are both founded by Stupid Cancer. They also unite cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, advocates and leading health experts to drive global change.

CancerCon is a huge event that is located in Denver, CO in April 2017.

The OMG! Summit West event is similar to CancerCon, but will be on a smaller scale. According to their website http://omgsummit.org/, it proudly remains the most influential and impactful health conference of its kind in the world.

This will be my first time attending an event of this kind, and I’m excited because I’ve only met two people who were around my age and were also cancer survivors.

At the OMG! Summit West event, I will have the chance to meet hundreds of people similar to me. I’m looking forward to compare and contrast my experiences and realities with the other attendees at the event.

I’m also going to use this opportunity to network by handing out my business cards, and tell people what I plan to talk about as an inspirational speaker.
