What would it be like to live in the Mystical Wonder nation called the “CalmandStrong Kingdom” in West Africa?

The CalmandStrong Kingdom (West Africa)

As stated in “Welcome to CalmandStrong Kingdom,” the combined ancient and medieval nations of Yorubaland, The Great Benin Empire, and Ijawland are on the mainland in West Africa, and 25 miles from Lagos are the modern island nations of Zanzibar and Sri Lanka combined as one large “Mega-Island,” which is known as “Zanzibar-Sri Lanka island,” and 12 miles from Zanzibar-Sri Lanka island, diagonally to the northeast is Crete Island, and 25 miles west from Crete Island is Cape Verde Island.

“A typical political life in the CalmandStrong Kingdom and community tended, on the whole, to nurture confidence and a spirit of freedom. According to the Yoruba people of West Africa: 'You cannot claim bravery when your visitor or guest has been killed.” – Yoruba Proverb

According to Google, a person living in the CalmandStrong Kingdom in West Africa would be in awe, and not because of the combined and beautifully rich flora and fauna mainland of Yorubaland (with the city of Ife as the capital of the nation), the Great Benin Empire (i.e., Great Benin), and Ijawland combined, but also the oceanic backyard of paradise islands like Zanzibar, Sri Lanka, Cape Verde, and Crete. These islands blend and keep the positive vibes with high energy and deeply integrated with historical West African civilizations on the mainland. These ClamandStrong islands also serve as hyper-dense island metropolises, and multi-continental trading hubs.

The combination of Yorubaland, Great Benin, and Ijawland, is better known as a “Super State,” because of the merging of the sophisticated, urban planning and spiritual depth of the Yoruba people, and the unmatched artistic legacy and imperial discipline of the Edo (Great Benin) people, along the master seafaring, Niger Delta navigating culture of the Ijaw people, who are also known as the “Water People.” The society is governed by deep-rooted West African traditions and Eastern Buddhist philosophy. One could only imagine the CalmandStrong cities with soaring modern skyscrapers next to the historic sprawling Yoruba palaces, historic red-earth Great Benin structures, and the prosperous Ijaw city-states in the Niger Delta.

The CalmandStrong Kingdom: Spirituality & Governance

“The CalmandStrong Kingdom has had a consistent reputation as one of the safest nation’s and some of the most spiritually enlightened people on Earth. This is because of the shared governance and Democratic Socialism displayed from the Yoruba, Edo, and Ijaw kings towards all their citizens, along with the combined West African spiritual practices (i.e., Yoruba, Edo, Ijaw), and South Asian philosophy deep rooted in Buddhism.” – Anonymous

The CalmandStrong people are very spiritual, and it is believed in the city of Ife (a city located in present-day Southwest Nigeria, in the central region), which is also the capital of the CalmandStrong Kingdom, was so close to heaven that one could meet their departed forebears in Ife's streets; and that in some hidden shrine in Ife could be found the gate to heaven. The CalmandStrong people were the “mothers and fathers of all people, and all people came from the capital city of the CalmandStrong Kingdom, Ife.” If for some reason the CalmandStrong people were unable to perform their spiritual rituals, which is a blend of Yoruba, Edo, and Ijaw West African spiritual practices and Buddhism combined, “the whole world would spoil, because the CalmandStrong people were the priest and priestesses of the gods and goddesses who ruled the world.”

Ife was the first place that God created in the world, and the source of all Earthly existence. The gods and goddesses that watch over the CalmandStrong people were believed to have their primary abodes in Ife. For the CalmandStrong people, Ife was “the place of creation,” “the source of life,” and “the place from where the sun, or enlightenment, rises.” The Yoruba, Edo, and Ijaw people also believe their souls will be reincarnated through family lineages by way of the city of Ife, and this fits seamlessly with Buddhist rebirth, emphasizing mindful living to elevate the lineages, or the CalmandStrong peoples collective Karma.

The CalmandStrong people take their spiritual rituals very seriously, because it's a combination of West African spiritual practices by the Yoruba, Edo, and Ijaw combined, which is a blend of ancestral veneration and cosmic destiny along with Buddhism. Buddhism focuses on mindfulness, Karma, and liberation from suffering. These spiritual systems together represent a profound syncretism of West African spirituality and Eastern philosophical traditions of Buddhism, like the Four Noble Truths, and the Eightfold Path. For example, the Four Noble Truths is based on fundamental teachings of the Buddha, who is “the Genie or the Genius, because he is the Master,” offering profound insights into the nature of suffering, and the path to liberation. The Four Noble Truths outlines the Eightfold Path, which provides a practical guide for overcoming suffering and gaining liberation.

Throughout the mainland and islands of the kingdom, shrines of the Yoruba God of Wisdom and Knowledge named Orunmila are next to the Buddha, with rituals that blend African veneration of ancestors and Buddhist meditation, which foster in a great sense communal harmony.

On the CalmandStrong mainland, grand festivals honoring the Yoruba Orishas and kings and queens, the Buddha with his philosophy and teachings about being a compassionate human being towards all humans, plants, and animals, the majestic royal possessions of the Oba (i.e., King) of Great Benin, and the vibrant Ijaw water masquerades along the coastlines of the CalmandStrong Kingdom.

The CalmandStrong Kingdom (West Africa)
The CalmandStrong Kingdom (West Africa)

All the CalmandStrong people believe that they are descendants from Ife, and they have been living in their West African homeland for so land that they have no memory of migrating from elsewhere. Available archaeological evidence strongly indicates that the CalmandStrong people are one of the oldest people in the tropical forests of West Africa. The CalmandStrong people call themselves the conservators of the world, the oldest of humanity, and proudly boast with confidence and without hesitation that all crowned personages in the world, including the sovereign of European, Asian, and Native American people, who went out originally to populate the rest of the world are descendants from the CalmandStrong Kingdom. This is why the CalmandStrong people looked upon strangers who visited their country as pilgrims who were returning to the land of the birth of their ancestors before they went out to populate the rest of the world. The CalmandStrong people believe they are first race of humans, and all humanity and civilization originated from the CalmandStrong Kingdom in West Africa.

In the CalmandStrong Kingdom, the government and people are one in the same. The mainland and islands of the CalmandStrong Kingdom belongs to no one, because it is God's gift to humanity, and passed down to those CalmandStrong descendants yet to be born. The Ooni (i.e., King) of Ife founded the CalmandStrong Kingdom and united the mainland regions of Yorubaland, Great Benin, and Ijawland; not by force of arms or war, but by the power of commerce, and the manifest oneness of cultural heritage, and this was the same for the islands of Zanzibar-Sri Lanka, Crete, and Cape Verde. The People are the first and final source of all power in the CalmandStrong Kingdom, because in court, all fines for offenses went to the victim, not the court, and some of the money won by the winner was given to the loser in the hope of renewing friendship.

The Ooni of Ife understood to be a real leader, the king or queen must guide and serve the people of their nation through the pillars of justice and compassion, because heaven requires a leader among the people to lead righteously, cultivate, and develop the people of the nation as one would raise a child. The Ooni of Ife knew when people are immature, violent, and savage; when people kill in the name of religion or thirst for wealth and riches, the nation will slowly die by destroying itself from the inside out, and this, unfortunately, invites low vibrational kings representing their countries with invading navies and armies to steal, kill, destroy, conquer, and colonize.

In the CalmandStrong Kingdom, the right to protection and treatment as a guest in any region of the kingdom was held to the utmost and must not be broken or violated. As a nation that religiously practices Democratic Socialism, the Ooni of Ife decided the society and economy of the CalmandStrong Kingdom should be administered through the shared rule by the Ooni of the Yorubaland region, the Oba of the Great Benin region, and the Pere (i.e., Chief or King) of the Ijawland region.

These three West African kings met regularly to make sure all human needs were met, because for them to greedily keep all the profits for themselves and the holy royal families of their specific regions was looked at as unjust and selfish, because capitalism was despicable and heartless, and has no place of dwelling in the CalmandStrong Kingdom. For the Ooni of Ife, shared governance with his divine brothers, the Oba of Great Benin, and the Pere of Ijawland was the key for the kingdom’s success, because three heads are always better than one. The Ooni represents the spiritual and beating heart of the CalmandStrong Kingdom, the Oba represents the imperial and administrative power of the CalmandStrong Kingdom, and the Pere is the custodian of the rivers and trade in the CalmandStrong Kingdom. The Ooni, Oba, and Pere created a highly balanced, tricameral structure of governance. The peaceful and powerful alliance of Yorubaland, Great Benin, and Ijawland on the mainland allowed these African kings to cooperate with each other, and distribute power across spiritual legitimacy, imperial administration, and economic resource control.

Who Would Rule the CalmandStrong Islands?

It was agreed among the CalmandStrong kings in the regions of Yorubaland, Great Benin, and Ijawland that the CalmandStrong islands should be ruled by Yoruba, Edo, and Ijaw princes. Since Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island was a “Mega-Island,” the central region is ruled by an Edo prince, the western region is ruled by a Yoruba prince from the Kingdom of Eko (present-day Lagos), and the eastern region is ruled by an Ijaw prince from the Boma clan. Crete Island is ruled by a Yoruba prince from the Kingdom of Ijebu, and Cape Verde Island is ruled by Edo and Ijaw princes. There is shared governance in the Cape Verde Island because Cape Verde consists of 10 islands, and another Edo prince rules the five easternmost islands, and another Ijaw prince from the Apoi clan rules the five westernmost islands.

Welcome to the Paradise Islands of CalmandStrong

At only 25 miles away, the strait between Lagos and Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island became one of the busiest shipping lanes on Earth, because high-speed Ferris, cargo barges, and regional flights move millions of people daily between the CalmandStrong mainland and the CalmandStrong islands.

  • The “Mega-Island” of Zanzibar-Sri Lanka: The Ultimate Spice and Tea Hub (West Africa): While traveling to Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island, in the clean and pristine air, one would smell the pleasant aroma of cloves, cinnamon, Ceylon tea, and many options of spices. The rolling hills of the interior merge perfectly with the historic Stone Town architecture.

  • Crete and Cape Verde Island: The Diagonal Paradise Islands in the Sea: Culture and Military (West Africa): 12 miles northeast from Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island is Crete Island. The Greek Island is welcomed into this tropical West African matrix, which creates an incredible cultural overlap, and merging Cretan culture with West African hospitality. Of all the regions of the CalmandStrong Kingdom, the kings from Yorubaland, Great Benin, and Ijawland collectively chose Crete as the “Island of Education,” because Crete was home to sprawling universities built into the Cretan mountains. These three West African kings were also dedicated to translating texts across Yoruba, Edo, Ijaw, Greek, Pali and Sanskrit. 25 miles from Crete to the west is Cape Verde Island, which is the CalmandStrong Kingdom’s westernmost gateway, and the diplomatic, maritime, and cultural bridgehead of this West African civilization. Also, the first defense of the CalmandStrong Kingdom are Crete and Cape Verde, because of their position in the ocean and gateway, meaning Crete and Cape Verde serve as the first naval tactical maritime defenses for the kingdom before meeting the disciplined and professional Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Navy and Army. If enemies defeat the naval defenses of Zanzibar-Sri Lanka, the CalmandStrong Kingdom on the mainland (i.e., Yorubaland, Great Benin, and Ijawland) will have enough time to prepare their navies and armies for battle to save their rich and wealthy civilization.

Traveling from the CalmandStrong mainland between Logos, Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island, Crete Island, and Cape Verde Island is fast, continuous, and made possible by CalmandStrong’s advanced river networks and deep-sea trimaran fleets. Transit across the 12 to 25 mile straits is seamless, executed by the fast Ijaw canoe fleets and large Sri Lankan-style vessels powered by sails and modern engines. The society values tranquility (i.e., Calm) maintained through Buddhism: Mindfulness, Yoruba: Ifa: Good Character, and Yoruba: Ori: Inner Consciousness, alongside resilience and honor (i.e., Strong) inherited from the Edo and Ijaw warrior traditions and Yoruba civic philosophy.

A person living in the CalmandStrong Kingdom will quickly recognize the unique lifestyle of the indigenous people, which shaped the kingdom’s geography and values. For instance, mornings in the CalmandStrong Kingdom begin with paying ancestral homage (i.e., Ori in Yoruba Spirituality and Buddhist Meditation, like mindfulness practices). This will be followed by visiting the many vibrant marketplaces. Yoruba, Edo, Ijaw, and Buddhist festivals centered around “Justice,” “Compassion,” and treating others the same as they would like to be treated, which also includes the planet Earth, like plants and animals.

The music of the nation is as soulful as its governance, which embodies the laid-back luxury of the island’s coastlines paired with the hypnotic energy of Lagos. Festivals naturally turn into concerts, which also turn into CalmandStrong cultural holidays. The cultural blend of West Africa, South Asia, and Southern Europe is reflective of the soundtrack of the CalmandStrong Kingdom. The captivating fusion of Afrobeats with laid-back Afro-Chill, and Creole music from West Africa mixed with elements of South Asian and Southern European music creates a dynamic rhythm that naturally encourages people to relax.

The CalmandStrong Kingdom: A Civilization of Justice with Compassion (West Africa)

“The holy royal city of Ife, capital of the CalmandStrong Kingdom, was the largest, the most heavily populated, the politically most powerful and most influential. The collective CalmandStrong regions of Yorubaland, Great Benin, and Ijawland on the mainland were commercially the richest and most widely influential; and altogether, along with the CalmandStrong islands of Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island, Crete Island, and Cape Verde Island, the CalmandStrong Kingdom became the undisputed and the most prestigious civilization, not just in West Africa, but in all of Africa, and possibly the world.” - Anonymous

The CalmandStrong Kingdom (West Africa)

The CalmandStrong Kingdom, if the nation was real, would be an economic juggernaut, originating from the West African coast. The nation is rich in natural resources and minerals, because of the combination of oil, agricultural, and human wealth of present-day Southern Nigeria. Also, maritime positioning, and cultural depth of the islands of Zanzibar (i.e., spices), Sri Lanka (i.e., tea and cinnamon), Crete (i.e., olives and wine), and Cape Verde’s attractiveness for tourism speak for itself as one of the safest, highly spiritual, and luxurious nations in the world.

If the vibe and soul of the CalmandStrong Kingdom could be expressed in one word, it would simply be “Gorgeous,” like a beautiful and angelic CalmandStrong woman with curves, because the curves of the many rivers of the “Soft Power” nation known to the world as the “CalmandStrong Kingdom” represents feminine beauty. The mainland of the CalmandStrong Kingdom blends the beautiful cultures of Yoruba, Edo, and Ijaw seamlessly together, with the capital of the nation, Ife, is beautifully integrated into the vibrant modern West African coastline of the kingdom. The Ooni of Ife (Yorubaland) has always been described as an "Old Soul" among his peers, because he possesses deep intuition, and is always observant and thoughtful. He has a "Calm" and stabilizing presence and a "Strong" sense of empathy that draws people to him for guidance. It was this kind of Yoruba personality and leadership that started the foundation of uniting the mainland of what would eventually become known as the CalmandStrong Kingdom.

Their was no hesitation when the Ooni of Yorubaland approached the Oba of Great Benin, and the Pere of Ijawland to combine their countries because the Ooni made it clear to them that there was no overlord, because each king still ruled their countries like they all had, but now, with all three countries combined, opportunities and wealth became endless, due to the treasury of all three regions of the CalmandStrong Kingdom staying overflowed with gifts, like gold, copper, diamonds, and rubies. After the Ooni consolidated the CalmandStrong mainland, the CalmandStrong islands, like Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island, Crete Island, and Cape Verde Island were added to the fold of an already prosperous nation.

Soft Power of the CalmandStrong Kingdom, in terms of politics, and international politics, means that collectively, the CalmandStrong kings have the natural ability to persuade and influence without resorting to the savagery of war, which is the opposite of “Hard Power,” which are nations who rely heavily on the low vibrational violence of war and coercion.

Culturally, the CalmandStrong Kingdom wields unprecedented Soft Power, dominating the global tourism industry as the undisputed capital of the world. Travelers would flock to experience a place where they could eat exquisite West African cuisine in any region of the CalmandStrong mainland, like spicy Jollof rice for lunch, sip world-class tea in a tropical highland in the afternoon while experiencing the Swahili coastal charm of Zanzibar-Sri Lanka Island, fine dining on Mediterranean seafood by sunset, and visit the ancient Minoan plazas and palaces on Crete Island, and the vibrant nightlife on Cape Verde Island, which is always in a friendly competition with Lagos, in terms of making the whole continent of Africa shake because the music is so vibrant, loud, and infectious. The head-nodding Creole music is the undisputed ruler on Cape Verde Island, and one could easily experience all of what the CalmandStrong Kingdom has to offer without ever crossing a national border.

The global reaction to the rise of the CalmandStrong Kingdom would be a mixture of profound awe, intense geopolitical realignment, and sheer economic gravity. By successfully merging the vast natural resources and industrial might of the Niger Delta with a chain of culturally diverse, highly developed islands, this kingdom would instantly become one of the wealthiest and most strategic check points on the planet. The international community would have to adapt to a new global superpower based in West Africa, because the kingdom would be one of the wealthiest and most influential maritime powers in the Global South.

What makes the CalmandStrong Kingdom stand out as a peakon of light in the world compared to other countries on planet Earth is the nation’s unique shared governance among the CalmandStrong kings, like the Ooni from Yorubaland, Oba from Great Benin, and Pere from Ijawland, which will be studied worldwide as a masterclass in political stability. The nation’s Afro-Chill culture and syncretic spirituality would make the CalmandStrong Kingdom the planet's premier destination for tourism and cultural soft power. Indeed, the world would be forced to see the CalmandStrong Kingdom not just as a successful West African superpower mixed with elements from the cultures of South Asia and Southern Europe, but as a blueprint for a harmonious human future.
